Well most of that stuff, they do not NEED, but some people find it fun to get those things for their dog. i do not get “frilly” things for my dogs, but i do put coats on them in the winter (it gets to -40F sometimes where i live) some dogs DO need protection from the sun, light colored dogs can get sunburned on the top of their muzzle, and ears if they have a short coat. i have a white dog that i have to put a little sunscreen on when we go out in the sun for long periods of time.
Any puppy worth his salt will have destroyed that playpen in a matter of hours.
